Research Paper on Abortion I have chosen to write my research paper on one of the most controversial topics in today’s society that I could think of. I chose this topic because it something that is often argued and fought over, but most individuals do not actually know all the facts and statistics about the specific topic. I have chosen to write my research paper about abortion. I hope that I can persuade my readers that abortion is an immoral act, an act that should not be thought of so lightly. My goal is to use statistics and facts that I found during my research to open my reader’s eyes to the truth behind abortion. I hope to fully discuss the health risks that the mother faces after abortion, as well as the baby, I will explain why abortion is more brutal than we have all originally thought, describing the techniques used for abortions, and I am going to explain why abortion should be banned and explore the court cases that have come about in the past to try to rid our nation of abortions. When abortion comes up in a discussion or debate the sole argument used by pro-life individuals, are the effects it has on the unborn baby. While I desire to also explain the effects abortion has on the baby, I also want to discuss and explain the dangerous effects and health risks abortion has on the mother after the procedure.
